Salary Range: $33.04/hr - $68,727 annually

Under general supervision, is responsible for welding, hard facing, and fabrication as well as working on construction equipment and maintaining a construction & demolition shredder on the landfill.  The position requires outside work as well work inside of the shop. The position requires filling out daily work sheets which document work completed and parts used. Must have hand tools to perform work. Reports to the Maintenance Manager and will be required to stick and mig weld proficiently in all positions.

Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years experience with welding and fabrication along with mechanic skills.

Salary will be based on experience.

Landfill Gas Supervisor

Horry County Solid Waste Authority

Under general supervision, is responsible for the management, direction and activities of the landfill gas and leachate management system operations including, but not limited to, daily, weekly, monthly, periodic, quarterly and annual operational maintenance, data recording and reporting, dailv monitoring activities and inspections. Reports to the Assistant Director of Operations & Planning. This position is a working Supervisor/Lead position.
